We also infuse each & every candle with customized fragrance blends. Your hand-crafted candle will include: your pet’s picture, your pet's story, your personal relationship with your pet, your pet's unique personality & special characteristics...all written in your own words!
There is something very ritualistic and healing about the lighting of a single candle, and for centuries people have been making and using candles. The Egyptians were using wicked candles in 3000 B.C., and before that, the ancient Romans developed wicked candles by dipping rolled papyrus repeatedly in melted tallow or beeswax. These candles were used to light their homes, to aid travelers at night, and in religious ceremonies. Lighting candles has also traditionally served as an act of devotion or honor; even a rite to represent the marking of a promise.
At J.Lilienne Custom Candles, we chose to elevate this experience by combining the candle-lighting ritual with an intent to celebrate our beloved pets through personal storytelling

The ‘Flora & Fauna’ collection was a natural extension of our creative vision behind the ‘pet celebration’ candles. This unique collection of 22 candles was inspired by animals in the wild as well as our desire to celebrate the wonders & the beauty of this planet. Our unique interpretations & designs also call attention to our collective need to steward & to protect those that need our help the most.
We offer 3 different collections - Wildlife, Marine Life and Natural World. Every 'Flora & Fauna' candle features a beautiful watercolor artistic rendition printed on heavy estate matte paper. We pour our vegan candle wax with scent blends that conjure the essence of each collection.
GIVING BACK: For every candle you buy from any collection, a portion of our profits will go toward reputable organizations that feel like we do about saving & protecting our companion animals, our endangered wildlife & our fragile environment.
We intentionally built the J.Lilienne custom candle business model from a platform of 'giving back' to not-for-profits that continue to fight for all that is worth fighting for. Quite frankly, we would have never started our business without this charity component that serves as our mantra and completes the circle of giving.

What a unique find! I never thought I would find a candle that expresses my love for all animals, fitting perfectly into my vegan lifestyle. The Lemon Verbena scent is divine and the meaningful poem on the front of the candle is very, very special to me. It really makes me so happy every time I light this candle!
Loving the smell of the autumn Pumpkin Bouquet candle and the Turkey candle. I just had to get 2 and try each for our holiday table settings. We haven't burned the Turkey one yet (why 4 stars) but the Pumpkin Bouquet burns well, not too strong. The wooden wicks are a nice warm touch.
The black cat candle smells Sooo good! Love for Halloween! And the decorated top adds such a nice touch, so pretty when it burns. Want to try more from this line.
I loved the PET CELEBRATION candle so much that I bought both options, the cylinder and the cube shapes. One is in our bedroom on my night table and the other is my home office. So everywhere I go I am reminded of our best friend Renegade. He is never forgotten ♥️🌈 RIP my Renegade. The Lampert Family
